Installation of SQL developer

Welcome to very first article, we are going to learn about how to create, manipulate, change and store data in databases. We are going to work with the SQL developer, so just go to google and type sql developer, open the very first link:

In this series I am going to use version 4.1.5, you probably be reading this after several years when this article was written so go ahead and download the latest version.

Now according to your operating system download the suitable one, take care of 32 bit or 64 bit version.

Also check the box saying accept license agreement

Now if you don't have JDK installed on your computer then download the version with JDK included else you can download the normal one.

It will ask for an account creation, if you already have an oracle account you can sign in and download else you need to register.

The download may take a while, but once download we are ready to create our first database.
